Lost Pines Toyota Continues Local TBI Prevention Campaign with New Grant from Toyota Way Forward Fund for Families

Bastrop, TX / June 11, 2025 / Lost Pines Toyota, in partnership with Toyota’s Way Forward Fund, is proud to announce a $10,000 grant awarded to the Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center. This donation is part of an ongoing community campaign focused on Traumatic brain Injury (TBI) prevention, with this particular grant supporting education for expectant parents on the dangers of Shaken Baby Syndrome and other brain injury risks in infants.
This effort is part of Toyota’s broader Way Forward Fund: A national initiative aimed at advancing solutions to prevent TBI through education, awareness, and community-based action. Toyota has committed millions of dollars to organizations across the country, and Lost Pines Toyota is honored to bring that mission home to Bastrop.
The check presentation included representatives from Bastrop Pregnancy Resource Center, Ascension Catholic Church, Bastrop ISD, and Lost Pines Toyota. Priscilla Ruiz, Bastrop ISD School Board Member and grant writer, played a key role in helping secure this funding, with support from Carlos Liriano, Dealer Principal at Lost Pines Toyota.
